Finding someone who understands and meets you where you’re at is invaluable – that’s what I hope to give to you. Together we can work together to find a sense of balance in your life, find a way to enjoy life, and cope with difficulties as they come up.
I’ve been a Registered Social Worker since 2005 and have worked in many different public settings with adults, teens, children and families, providing help to deal with mental health related problems. I have worked in hospital based mental health programs for both adults and children, the Thames Valley District School Board, Family and Children’s Services and the non-profit sector. My broad range of experience has led to a diverse training foundation. I utilize various evidence based approaches in counselling, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Brief Solution Focussed Therapy (BSFT), and Narrative Therapy.
I have a Master of Social Work Degree (MSW) from King’s University College at Western University, as well as a Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Sociology degrees from McMaster University. I am a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
